Framers Protest Live Updates: Farmers Burn Tyres At Delhi Border, Demand To Protest At Jantar Mantar

Описание: The adamant farmers have started burning tyres at the Singhu border which connects Delhi and Haryana as no consensus is reached on the protest site in Delhi. While the Delhi Police has offered Burari's Nirankari ground, the farmers have demanded that they be allowed to continue their stir at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.

A major showdown at the Delhi border areas is expected as farmers from Punjab's Fatehgarh Sahib have started moving towards Delhi to join the protest along with the thousands that are stationed at the Delhi border areas since Thursday. At least 30 farmers from Uttar Pradesh have already reached the Nirankari ground in Delhi's Burari to support the farmers from Punjab against the farm laws. The farmers from UP said more farmers from the state would soon be joining in. Rajasthan farmers have also started gathering at the border areas.
