I finally read this book, and honestly… I had mixed feelings. 🫤 I go into more detail in the video, but overall, I felt like the story’s flow was a bit uneven. The biggest surprise? Chetan Bhagat actually adds himself into the story to help move the plot along. Was it necessary? I’m not so sure. 🤷‍♀️

⚠️ Spoiler Alert! He ends up being the one to show Madhav Riya’s journal entries, and while it did connect some dots, it felt a little wild to me. Especially since Madhav and Riya never had a super close relationship to begin with. 😅

What really surprised me was how so many reviews call this story romantic and heartwarming… and I just didn’t get that vibe. Did I miss something? 👀

I’m still going to watch the movie though — maybe seeing it visually will change my mind.
