The Boutique Hotel Rothenburger Hof is a historic property in Dresden’s vibrant Neustadt district, located on Rothenburger Straße. Established in 1865, the hotel offers a mix of historical charm and modern comforts, appealing to visitors who want to experience Dresden’s lively arts and cultural scene up close. The hotel features 30 uniquely decorated rooms and 14 apartments, each designed with individual character, offering both single and double options. Apartments come with kitchen facilities, making them suitable for longer stays or family accommodations.

Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a sauna, a terrace, and a garden, providing guests with ample space to relax after a day exploring Dresden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and a breakfast buffet is served daily. The hotel also offers private parking for an added fee, which is particularly convenient given the area’s popularity. Its central location places it just a walk or tram ride from Dresden's main attractions, including the Frauenkirche, Brühl's Terrace, and the Semperoper.

I stayed at this hotel in September 2024 for four nights on a room-only basis, which cost 310 Euro (including city tax). My room was a decent size with a generous and comfortable bed, there was plenty of space, a desk area, comfy chair, open wardrobe rack and shelves and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The bathroom was also a good size.

The only real negatives with the room were that it was dimly lit and that it didn't have air-conditioning, everything else about it was really good. The swimming pool was lovely but it was a cold pool, I did brave it though.

This hotel was quirky and had a lot of charm, I would definitely consider staying here again in future.
