A recording of the one-hour zoom webinar from October 23rd 2025 presenting how generative AI is changing design, from basic tools to smarter, tailored workflows made for architecture.
As generative AI becomes standard practice, the critical challenge shifts from application to authorship. This talk first reviews state-of-the-art tools across visual, 3D, and BIM domains, then demonstrates experimental methods to move beyond their generic outputs.
Explore how to fine-tune models with curated data to create bespoke AI workflows imbued with specific architectural intelligence, showcasing recent project outcomes from UBC (University of British Columbia) students.
Hosted by NBA and presented by Xun Liu, Assistant Professor at UBC SALA (School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture) this informative session offers essential guidance for architects, engineers, contractors, developers and anyone involved in BC's construction industry looking to stay ahead.
With the aim of supporting free learning and creating an ongoing presentation series, full recordings of all sessions are available on the NBA utube channel: / @nick_bray_architecture
