NOTE: One thing I forgot to mention: what often lurks in our shadow are our complexes. Again, it's up to each individual but often, complexes represent our personal and collective unconscious - the archetypes that guide or give a particular colour to our complex are collective, but how and why we develop them is personal. Shadow thus, might become saturated with such complex.
