We travelled to Cancún in August 2020, during the COVID pandemic. We stayed at Hotel RIU Palace Las Americas and felt very safe— everyone had to wear masks and they were checking temperatures throughout the entire resort.
Here’s a video of the room we stayed in, Room 631. This is an oceanfront room and had the best view!!! We definitely recommend this adults-only resort and can’t wait to return!
Changes during COVID:
No full-size alcohol bottles in the room
No room service
Masks required everywhere
