Chinnar wild life sanctuary in Idukki is located in the rain shadow region of the Western Ghats. We can access chinar wildlife sanctuary from Munnar through Marayoor or from Pollachi through Munnar Udumalpet road. Due to dry forest, rainshadow region and presence of Chinnar, Pambar rivers, there is good possibility of animal sighting at Chinnar.

This video is about 3 hours trekking programme, which you can book from Chinnar Amenities/Information center office.
