Hi again! I decided to cover another track by Overkill. This time, I went with The Surgeon — one of the most energetic songs from their latest album.
🎸 Guitars and bass were performed and recorded by me.
🥁 Drums were fully programmed using multiple VSTs.
🎙️ The vocals are the original isolated track, carefully synced and mixed into the new instrumental.
⚙️ Used Plugins & Software:
Drums: EZdrummer 3, Superior Drummer 3, GGD Modern Metal, GGD One Kit Wonder Brutal, Krimh Drums
Bass: Ampeg B15N, Parallax
Guitars: Audio Assault AHM 5050, Neural DSP Gojira, STL Tones Will Putney
Programming the drums (especially cymbals!) took a lot of time and effort – in future covers, I’m definitely open to collaborating with a real drummer 🤘
