Cremation grounds overwhelmed in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh as more than 50 dead bodies of Covid patients are being brought to the Surajkund crematorium every single day. People at cremation ground talked to Mojo Story about the difficulties faced by them while admitting their Covid infected patients. A lot of them are not happy with the way treatment is going on. Several relatives who lost their loved ones blamed the authorities and the governments for their careless behaviour and lack of accountability. Mr Amritanshu Rastogi, whose brother succumbed to COVID, said there's a shortage of oxygen in the hospital. We have changed two hospitals due to a shortage of oxygen supply. We have managed our oxygen cylinders but hospitals started calling us to shift our patient to another hospital. He also shared his disappointment with the government due to a lack of accountability and preparations for the second wave of covid in India.
