Описание: After receiving word of his partner Clara’s passing, Roger travels to the desolate family cabin where they would often vacation together. As he pores over the home videos recorded during their trips, Roger begins to realize that someone has been watching them from the woods for years.

'For Roger' is a horror/drama set in the early aughts that mixes elements of found footage and '80's slashers to deliver a unique horror experience. With $4,000 and the help of nearly thirty Drexel students, we set out to make a film that implements familiar genre tactics to convey the confusion, desperation and isolation felt within a toxic relationship. The various home videos seen in the film, shot on real MiniDV tape, are comprised of improvised conversations between first-time actors Michael Andrusiewicz (Roger) and Jenna Gibilisco (Clara) that reveal the life stories of each character. The over-arching narrative takes place in Roger's vacation home, a desolate cabin that becomes a lot less comfortable when he realizes someone could be watching from outside.

This film is a labor of love, shot over the course of four weekends from July 2019 to February 2020. The cast and crew all stayed in the cabin during production, leading to some of the best memories and conversations I've had in my entire life. All efforts went toward maintaining a safe and professional set at all times, while allowing enough free time to ensure everyone enjoyed their time working on the film. Though the pandemic set us back a bit, as it did most people, we were still committed to working remotely to finalize our vision. We have no studio backing, just our own determination to get our hard work seen. We are all very proud of the finished product, but personally I am most proud to have had the opportunity to make a movie with the people in my life I care about the most.
