Wire Rope and Structural Inspections on Port Cranes via Rope Access

Описание: RIGCOM Access was brought in to solve a long issue of wire rope and structure inspections on port cranes.

The client needed to reduce their downtime and save them money. Cranes are in constant use on the port and every hour they are down means a significant loss of productivity.

Being flexible was one of the critical factors in helping to achieve the client's goal. RIGCOM Access was able to show up in a short time frame and deploy the work force quickly when the asset wasn't in use.

Previous inspections were being carried out by using another crane and buckets. Which was expensive and more time consuming then using Rope Access.

We were able to complete the inspections in 50% of the time using rope access. We were also able to access areas that were not able to be inspected before because of the flexibility of using ropes.
