I wanted to see if I could use Rubber Cement for patching inner tubes in a bicycle tire. I glued both pieces of rubber (used from inner tube) and let them become tacky. Than I pressed them together in between two tiny thin pieces of plywood and clamped together for 24 hours. The temperature was not ideal. 4 deg Celsius or about 40 deg Fahrenheit. So it was cold.
I believe they stuck enough to hold air, but as you can tell they can be pulled apart with not to much effort. The Rubber Cement is manufactured by Victor.
