The Boeing 737-200 is becoming increasingly rare. So I was delighted to be able to fly on this Boeing 737 Classic operated by Air Inuit. The aircraft, C-GMAI, was delivered to Air Gabon in 1978 and flew for Air Congo from 2008 to 2010, and for Air Inuit since 2010. Air Inuit owns a total of four Boeing 737-200s, which are mainly used for flights from Montreal to La Grande and Puvirnituq. During my trip, Puvirnituq Airport was closed due to construction work on the runway. I was therefore rebooked and spent the day at La Grande Airport. The crew was extremely friendly and enthusiastic about how many aviation enthusiasts come to Canada especially to see the aircraft. After arrival, there was a tour around the aircraft.
