This van is nicely loaded from Mercedes-Benz & from us on the build. Our goal is to build a quality van that is "off the grid" capable almost indefinitely. Only quality proven components on our builds.
On this van the power system starts with 300 watts of solar on the roof into Victron Energy components & Battleborn Lithium Batteries. 100/50 Mppt solar controller brings in the power to the Batteries and the Victron 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter/ charger powers the Induction cooktop, microwave and IsoTemp Electric hot water heater. The inverter can also power other components like a coffee maker or vacuum etc.. Just like home. The Batteries are also charged by the alternator if needed while driving and shorepower plug from any power outlet at home or camping etc. We also love the ability to shower in the rear of the van or the sliding door area with hot water! 22 gallon watertank inside to be able to use the van in the winter as long as you run the Espar Diesel Heater! You can shower inside as well from the sink faucet with a temporary shower pan/curtain. Nice big fridge with freezer in the galley. 2 Lagun table mounts. Lots of storage and room in a 144" wheelbase! The fold up 2 person bench seat really opens the living space up. Fiamma F80s awning. Roof rack. Owl Van Engineering tire carrier. VanCompass Fox Suspension and leafsprings set to the weight of the van. Drives amazing!
