🎵 Marakadon ( Takè ) || Full Rhythm with Djembe, Dun Dun, Bells 🎵
Také / Marakadon is a rhythm from Mali.
It originates from the Soninké in the Kayes region of Mali. This people is also known as Maraka (as the Bamana say), Dafing or Sarahule (as the French call them).
When Maraka were invited to parties of the Malinke or Bambara, the Marakadon, the dance of the Maraka (thus the Také ) was played in honor of these guests.
Also known as Tagé or Tagué.
In Mali, the accompaniment is normally on two bass drums
(Doundoun + Sangban or Sangban + Kenkeni).
The Malinke add extra patterns to fill in their three-drum doun section.
Thank you https://www.paulnas.nl/ for the precise description of the origin of the rhythm
