The reserve is located in the center of the Golan Heights, 20 km south of Katzrin on Highway 808. Entrance to the reserve is charged; an adult ticket costs 29 shekels. The "Olea Essence" Olive Oil Press is a unique place in the ancient Jewish city of Qatzrin in the Golan Heights. Our Olive Oil Press produces one of the world's best extra virgin olive oils. We also produce 100% Natural Skin Care Products and a 100% Natural EcoOlea Green Cleaning line, all based on our own olives and olive oil.
Golan Heights Winery was founded in 1983 in the Golan Heights region of northern Israel. The Golan Heights' terroir is similar to the microclimate and soils of California's Napa Valley. Californian know-how played a significant role in the development of Golan Heights Winery. After twenty years of operation, Golan Heights Winery not only remains synonymous with high-quality Israeli wines but also continues to advance the country's winemaking industry. Along with producing outstanding wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, and other grape varieties, the company produces late-harvest wines and sparkling wines made using the traditional Champagne method, unparalleled in Israel. Golan Heights Winery currently produces 5 million bottles annually, nearly 30% of which is exported. The company produces three regular series: Yarden, Gamla, and Golan. In addition, in the best years, it also produces Katzrin, a super-premium wine. The Jordan River flows through the Golan Heights vineyards. The wine labels feature an ancient symbol: an oil lamp decorated with mosaics.
