INFOSYS 'FORCEFULLY' LAYS OFF 300 TRAINEES IN MYSURU!!

At the Mysuru campus of Infosys, the company reportedly terminated 700 fresh campus recruits from their jobs.

These new employees were mostly 2022 engineering graduates who joined the company in October 2023 and were undergoing internal assessments after onboarding.

The company stated that they gave employees three attempts to clear the assessment test.

However, after multiple failures, these layoffs became necessary.

But this decision is not just a layoff; it has turned into a major dispute.

Employees and NITES have accused Infosys of engaging in unethical practices.

NITES President Harpreet Singh Saluja claimed that the company used bouncers and security guards to exert pressure on the employees.

It has also been alleged that the assessment criteria and syllabus were changed without prior notice.

However, Infosys defended itself by stating that its hiring and training process has always been strict.

The company also clarified that the number of layoffs is around 350, not 700 as claimed.
