TRYING OIL PASTELS (NOT QUITE A FAIL) + Recreating Famous Artwork The Scream by Edvard Munch!

Описание: In today's video, I am recreating The Scream (1893) by Norwegian artist, Edvard Munch. While I was no art history major, I really enjoy going to art museums and learning about famous artwork and movements, so it might be fun for me to attempt to recreate one of the most famous artworks of all time here on my channel!

Something about oil pastel screams impressionism/expressionism or post-expressionism, so I thought The Scream would be the perfect subject not only for the medium I was using today but also for my hectic state of mind lately as so much has happened in 2022 so far!

On top of all of this, it was fun to play around with student quality supplies. This is something I'd like to do maybe more often because sometimes you want to try out student quality before you invest in a more expensive set of a medium you aren't sure about yet.

Based off of how today went, I am not sure I want to try artist quality oil pastels just yet, but I am open to suggestions and recommendations (just leave a comment down below!). I hope you enjoy!
