Описание: Tricky Winch-out on a Steep Driveway! What seemed like a ridiculously easy winch-out, turned out to be just a tad harder than I expected. We get calls similar to this almost daily, where trucks and trailers bottom out and high center on these steep style driveways. 90% of them are done with a regular wrecker and completed in minutes.

This one is a bit special because a rotator was specifically requested. The job came in as a truck stuck and "resting" on the air tanks, and the company was worried they would be severely damaged from a regular winch-out. That's where I come in with Hulk, my 50ton rotator.

At first glance I thought no problem, let me just lift up the front and rotate the unit out to safety. It wasn't until the truck didn't budge that I realized that obvious hissing sound was a huge air leak. Looks like the tanks sustained damage and a strap was put up to hold them in place. In doing so, the air release line was pinched in a way that was pulling it back, therefore releasing all the air.

This means that no matter what, the air system would not build up and could not release the brakes. Once I figured that out, it was super easy to fix and then do my original plan. Best part is I was able to use the rotator in a way that kept traffic flowing which is always critical to us.
