In this video we will go over how to remove (aka de-badge), replace and/or repair plastic or metal emblems and badges on GM trucks, sport utility trucks (SUTs), and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) including the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Sierra, and GMC Yukon.
The truck illustrated is a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche LT Black Diamond Edition, and the metal part of the anniversary badge has fallen off so it needs to be replaced. The procedure shown in this video would be applicable for any GMT900 style 2007 thru 2014 truck, SUT, or SUV with a similarly attached OEM badge or emblem. The part number shown to illustrate the procedure, however, is only applicable to the 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche model.
