Tonight on Firepower, we are tackling a subject that creates a lot of confusion and unnecessary division in the Church: Christmas is not pagan. In this episode, we are going to walk through the most common myths surrounding Christmas and address the claim that pagans “stole” or originated the holiday. We will look at where those ideas come from, why they gained traction, and whether they actually hold up under historical scrutiny.
We are also going to examine why December 25 was chosen, what the early Church believed, and how much of what is repeated today is based on assumptions rather than evidence.
