নানা ঘটনার মধ্যদিয়ে জাকসু ও হল সংসদ নির্বাচনের ভোটগ্রহণ শেষে গণনা শুরুর অপেক্ষা। ইলেকশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর অভিযোগে নির্বাচন বর্জন করেছে ছাত্রদল। পুনর্নির্বাচনের দাবি জানিয়েছে ‘সংশপ্তক পর্ষদ’, বামপন্থী ‘সম্প্রীতির ঐক্য’ পরিষদসহ ৪ প্যানেল ও ৫ স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী। পরাজিত হবে বলে ছাত্রদল নির্বাচন বর্জনের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে বলে দাবি করেছে ইসলামী ছাত্রশিবির। জাকসু নির্বাচন ও পরবর্তী পরিস্থিতি জানাতে জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে আছেন সাদী মাহমুদ।
