In this video:
We discuss a strength training concept that I don't see discussed very often - the Fitness Fatigue Model.
Years ago, I was training exactly how you do right now. I followed generic intermediate training programs like Wendler 5/3/1, Starting Strength, Texas Method and similar.
I did a bunch of hard, slow, grindy reps near failure in the gym.. before long I was failing reps and feeling beat up all of the time.
I wasted years not getting any stronger and guessing my way through my training.
I didn't really understand the concept of getting stronger and had no clear path to increase my squat, bench press and deadlift strength.
Until I understood this concept.
I wanted to share this with you, in the hopes that it helps you to get far stronger than me, in half the time it took me, learning from my mistakes.
