Directly after the Transcontinental Race I did some short videos telling funny stories from the road. In the end I could win the race, but in the first days I had to learn a lot and experienced some difficulties.
In this episode it is all about getting lost while I wanted to make my way to a Motel room in Germany about 26 hours into the race to get my first sleep. Rain, a dead phone, tiredness and a confused mind caused big trouble. Experienced bikepackers would do it different, by not booking a room and simply sleep, when necessary, or by having a better navigation. I did not make that mistake twice ;-)
