I start my day by feeding and giving water to the cows. Then I draw water from an old village well and use it to prepare Abgoosht using a traditional family method passed down from generation to generation.

While the Abgoosht slowly cooks, I head to the village bakery to buy fresh bread. In Iran, Abgoosht is traditionally enjoyed with Barbari bread.

A simple day in the mountains of Iran, filled with traditional food, village chores, and peaceful rural life.
