AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi opposed the inclusion of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the panel which has been appointed by the Supreme Court to mediate on Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case. Referring to Ravi Shankar’s earlier statement on Ram Mandir where he said that “India will become Syria if Muslims don’t give up their claim on Ayodhya” Owaisi said that the apex court should have appointed a neutral person as a mediator.
