Donington mud run 2018. Run Fearless is set within the Ancient Donington Park Estate, on the Derbyshire / Leicestershire border.
You get to choose on the course if you're up for the 10k or 5k https://runfearless.co.uk/the-course/
It's a good run with some scenic views. at one point you're running next to the stunning river Trent.
There is always an option to bypass an obstacle or an easier option.
The main event is the "Fearless Finish" which is right next to the main area where spectators are situation (spectating is free). I refer to it as the "Travellator" from the TV Show Gladiators.
The pricing is very reasonable and the atmosphere felt more like a family BBQ at the end. The kids had their own mini obstacle course they could do (for free) and there was also colouring and music for them to dance to.
For the adults there was a bar and BBQ area for food. plenty of toilets and 2 large tents for changing.
The waves were around 30 - 50 people and started every half an hour form 11.
All in all a cracking day out and if you're new to mud/OCR running, this would make a good first try.
