That Sniper on Doomsday was cheating like there was no tommorow, the Spy on the other hand (who later became the Gotta Go Fast Sniper) appeared to be exploiting extremely high (at points over 800) Ping to exploit lag compensation.

Top Tip: Cheaters will often change their name when they get spotted, sometimes to something with massive amounts of dead space to effectively block them from being reported due to TF2's character limits on menus. No legitimate player ever has any need to do this.
Top Tip 2: VAC is pretty useless and is often foiled, and even when it does work, it can apparently take a long time, sometimes up to several months (according to Wikipedia), to ban a cheater.
