Pitiful Scion, also known as The Tragic Prince or Young Nobleman of Sadness, is a music theme originally composed by Michiru Yamane for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It is the background music played in the Clock Tower. Some fans consider it as Alucard's theme, along with Dracula's Castle.

It was later reused and remixed for Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
