Michael would then turn his love for movies into the award winning short film Rituals and Resolutions which he financed by starting a small business of his own selling tarps in a world before Amazon or e-commerce. In addition to acting and directing Michael was also a highly successful Club Promoter during the height of the LA club scene where he organized large events such as the premier party for Tim Burton’s original 1989 Batman.

These days Michael is the Host of Long Shot Leaders, a podcast that tells the story of underdogs from all walks of life who have found unlikely success in the field. In addition Michael is developing a mix of other media related, real estate, and entrepreneurial ventures including a line of outdoor lifestyle gear and a number of new podcasts. He is also reviving his standup career, adding new dates in the coming year.
