Vimy isn't the only battle Canadian's should remember. The taking of Hill 70 near Lens France in 1917, just a few months after Vimy, was a masterpiece of strategy, bravery and sacrifice.
This video explores non-horizontal projectile motion in that context, looking at the difference 1 degree off makes (spoiler: a LOT), and recognizes the sacrifice of GNR Lewis King in particular.
Side note - the man went AWOL for a few days in 1918 while missing a leg. I have to respect that sort of dedication to non-conformity!
