I'm sure many people my age remember Discovery Kids, a channel dedicated to Edutainment, or media based on education while also providing entertainment. And it had a lot of shows that I loved. But I think that Grossology might be one of the most underrated show on Edutainment. A series that really wanted to go all in with its universe and stories filled with creativity, setting the education based on a practical sci fi action show with Supervillains utalizing the grosser aspects of nature and our hereos using it to stop them. Its a really unique premise that actually gets you invested in what its trying to teach you and educates you very naturally. Which is something that even the best of Edutainment often lacks. I think this show is super underrated and deserves more respect as the best show of Edutainment, even if you might have to get the stomach for it.
