It's ALIVE.....IT'S ALIVE!! No, it's not the monster from Dr. Frankenstein, but the new Rapala Live finishes may trick some bass into thinking that crankbait flying by has come to life.
While probably effective in most water conditions the emphasis on details within these finishes really lend themselves to clear water where fish wary of other less believable colors may move in for the strike. Although I personally am not a huge advocate of color being critical to fishing success, it is hard to think that fishing a lure that actually looks like the baitfish can ever be a bad thing.
