Reflecting the global nature of Open Arms Project, this track was recorded in São Paulo, Brazil and the minute-long intro features renowned Czech Roma singer Pavlina Matiova singing a traditional Roma lullaby (Roma are the people sometimes referred to as Gypsies). After the intro, the song goes into a hip-hop inspired trap groove that also includes electronics built from stems of the recordings that Etkin made around the world – loops of Mbiras and hand-clapping from Zimbabwe and a Copuz from Turkey are triggered in and out by the drummer as the band improvises around a melody that Etkin wrote dedicated to Pavlina and the cultural social justice work for the Roma people that she and her colleagues have been spearheading.
