Can guitar pedals be used with bass? Hear for yourself!
Today, I’ve prepared sound samples of three of my pedals with a bass guitar: Szczur distortion (modifier RAT), Astral Dimension Modulation Machine (flanger, chorus, phaser), and Space Muffin (modified Big Muff fuzz). These are the pedals I get asked about the most when it comes to bass compatibility.
To give you the answers, Piotr and I have teamed up to bring you some sound demos. Piotr will play while I tweak the settings, so you can hear how they sound in various configurations.
Before we dive into the demos, I'll give you a quick rundown of each pedal. I recommend watching the whole video without skipping ahead, as there are a lot of settings, and it's easy to miss something cool by jumping around.
