Описание: https://asimplyfab.life/ For 7 seven years, we've been watching the magnificent Catalina fly over our home, and each time promising ourselves to book a flight. Well, that time came. We booked two tickets. WOW. A flying boat has to be the pinnacle of adventure. And this one comes with such history and has been so lovingly restored.

We forget that this aeroplane is over seventy years old and has had a distinguished career during world war two. Doing what it was designed for - reconnaissance and anti-submarine duties. After the war, it served as a firefighter and then even as a cargo plane.

This one has been lovingly restored and kept in flying condition by a not-for-profit organisation in the Netherlands and is based at the Aviodrome in Lelystad, Netherlands. It was a pleasure to finally be able to get an onboard flight on this amazing piece of history. As old-school as they come (just like an old Land Rover)...
