Abdullah Kuş, a 64-year-old resident of Bingöl, found ammunition left over from the Ottoman-Russian War that took place in the region in 1916-1917 and is displaying it in a section he created.
Kuş discovered various items such as bullets, shrapnel fragments, and horse shoes from the Ottoman-Russian War while herding livestock in the Şerafettin Mountains, which are approximately 2,700 meters high and located across from his village in Sudurağı, Karlıova district, during his childhood.
Kuş, who had given the materials he collected at the time to a scrap dealer because he did not know their significance, became more aware of history after seeing war materials in a museum during a trip to Çanakkale years later.
Kuş, who moved from Sudurağı village to Kocaeli in 1993 and worked as a contractor, began collecting materials from the war period mixed into the soil in the Şerafettin Mountains again during the summer 10 years ago when he returned to his village.
After traveling for kilometers in his off-road vehicle, Kuş reached the area used by the Russians as a position and found traces of the war at every step he took.
