Описание: Bergen. The Puma has been delivered to the 4th Company of the 33rd Armoured Infantry Battalion. True to the motto “you can only learn to shoot by shooting,“ Captain Konrad Fuchs uses all opportunities the major training area has to offer his company. Only there can the teams - consisting of commander, gunner and driver - improve their cooperation. Even at speed, the Puma’s accuracy is impressive. During various stages of live fire, the infantry fighting vehicles advance alone or in pairs. They can hit their targets both at rest and when moving at full throttle. But the vehicles still need to overcome a few teething problems. All involved agree that the Puma still needs some time before it can replace the Marder for good.
The 4th Company’s next training manoeuvre is combined combat, i.e. the cooperation of mounted and dismounted forces in a live ammunition exercise in spring 2017.
