Kochur Loti chingri is one of the most popular Bengali recipe. Ir's a typical Bengali recipe.
We can cook this taro stolons in two or three different ways , but this one is very easy to prepare and my personal favorite, yummy to eat.
Cooking time : 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS :

1.KOCHUR LOTI/TARO STOLONS 250 GM
2.CHINGRI/PRAWN SMALL SIZE 150 GM
FOR PASTE
----------------------
3. MUSTARD SEEDS 1 TSP/SORSE
4.POPPY SEEDS 1 TSP/POSTO
5.GINGER '/ADA
6. GREEN CHILI / KANCHA LONKA
OTHER SPICES
---------------------------
7.TURMERIC POWDER / HOLUD GURO
6. PANCH PHORON / 5 SPICES MIX
8. BEY LEAF /TEZ PATTA 1
9. SALT TO TASTE
10. MUSTARD OIL
11. SUGAR
DIRECTION :
----------------------
1)Cut the loti into long pieces and light boil them 5 minutes in water in a pressure cooker .
2) prepare a spices paste Mustard seeds,Poppy seeds, green chili ,ginger
3) fry the prawn light golden .
4) in the remaining oil add panch phoron ( 5 spices mix) , bey leaf
5) Add spices paste and stir well and add turmeric powder salt ,sugar and stir well up to spices mix and leaving oil from spices .
6) then add prawn and loti
