I am Jeffrey Eatley and this is my Social Vlog Experiment. What does that mean exactly? I am going to put myself out there in the world of social media in order to create relationships, experiences, and knowledge that can translate into the real world. I want to meet people online to get to know them and then meet them in real life in order to document the experience. Social media to me has always been something to enhance the real world, not to replace it. So many seem to hide behind it, not getting out in public, not seeing the world. I want to know if I build something here if it will translate into real-world experiences. I want to use this platform to create change, to help others, to enhance my life. Yes, Social media is amazing and can allow us all to see the world as a smaller place. Allowing us to connect with people all over the world. But does that make us worldly? Getting out there and traveling, touching, verbally communicating and interacting with other humans does. It's the true life interactions that create meaningful relationships, experience, and knowledge.

I think this is the real reason for social media and this is my experiment to prove it, once and for all.
