A First Lunging & In-Hand Lesson With A New Mare Using Manolo's Approach

Описание: This is a 13 minute video of our Polish clinic organizer Agnieszka Kowalska using Manolo's training for wellness method with a ten year old warmblood mare she was asked to help with.

It is inspiring to watch Aga use so many of Manolo's techniques and reflect his training philosophy so clearly all while still being in the process of learning and practicing it.

It is lovely seeing how calm and unhurried Aga is, her use of pauses and the thought she puts in every request.

We look forward to seeing how this mare will do when she decides to work with Aga as she is a beautiful horse and a very intelligent mare - in this clip, she is observing and learning about Aga, just as much (or more) as Aga is learning about her.

What experience does Aga have?

Outside of watching the DVD and watching Manolo while co-managing 4 extremely large clinics (meaning she watched 1/3rd) , Aga has had 2 in-hand lessons with Manolo (one in person and one online) and one riding lesson.

Aga rode regularly when she was younger (she is 30) but never had a horse. She taught and started some young horses but never considered herself a professional and stopped riding and training for several years before starting up again last year and starting a young horse called Timon who you can see progress videos for using the search button. She works as a sport/enterprise psychologist.

We mention this because when you start to train this way, it can feel a little daunting.

This video is an example of someone who made a comitment to learning the material from the dvd, articles and posts and then made a comitment to practice. The results are very encouraging.
