ESP8266 I2S and DMA for Servo/Stepper Control

Описание: Found a potential way to do 32bit realtime bitbang on an ESP8266. With a little luck this should be able to control a reprap printer directly without an arduino. This demo just ouputs a 32bit counter via I2S to four cascaded 74HC595 shift-registers.

A similar approach, but using a raspberry and parallel IO, is presented in much like    • 3d Printing via the Raspberry Pi's GPIOs  .
