The Material ConneXion Library at Sheridan’s HMC and Trafalgar campuses invites design students to see, touch, and explore over 10,000 innovative materials — from vegan leather made with apple peels to Canadian-designed decarbonized concrete.

Each year, Interior Decorating co-op students gain real-world experience working in the library. In 2025, co-op students Dhimahi Yadav and Janvi Pabari led an exciting redesign project, transforming the library space using their design skills and creativity. Their process included research, collaboration, and hands-on problem-solving — even creating custom signage and papier-mâché décor!
