Building an aircraft that can hover, or an aircraft that can fly on its wing, is hard — but transitioning between the two is much harder.
Since 2017, we've demonstrated that our aircraft can smoothly transition from one mode of flight to the other, combining the flexibility of a helicopter with the efficiency of a fixed-wing aircraft.
This footage comes from multiple aircraft flying in multiple U.S. states and countries, demonstrating transition flight over and over and over again — making an incredibly hard engineering problem into a routine, everyday reality that benefits people and the planet.
