The Harry’s Cocktail mixes gin, Italian vermouth, absinthe, and mint, proving that subtlety wasn’t really a 1920s thing.

We’ll shake up this forgotten classic straight from Barflies and Cocktails (1927), talk about Harry’s place in bartending history, and see if this self-titled drink still holds up a century later.

🧾 Ingredients
• 45ml London Dry Gin
• 22.5ml Italian (sweet) Vermouth
• 1 dash Absinthe
• 1 mint leaf (stirred in)

Stir with ice, strain into a chilled coupe, and garnish with another mint leaf.
