Ganjam Police Bust Major Cyber Fraud Gang | 5 Arrested for Bank Account Scam

Ganjam Beguniapada Police have arrested 5 members of a cyber fraud gang, including the mastermind Sushant Sahu from Sankuda village. The gang was operating multiple bank accounts to earn illegal money.

Sushant, based in Brahmapur, lured youth with fake tour offers and hacked their accounts to run illegal gambling and money laundering operations. The accounts were primarily operated from Raipur and surrounding areas, with 80–100 accounts being actively used for fraud.

Police continue further investigation to uncover more accomplices and the network behind this sophisticated scam. SDPO Purushottampur confirmed that all links are being traced.
