After taking 14 hours to get through the core campaign of the game, we finally find ourselves entering the GT League, the component of the game that will make up the bulk of the rest of the playthrough. I'm estimating around it'll take around 100 hours to complete all 301 races. Technically, we've already hit 100% game completion by just doing the Driving School, Mission Challenge, and Circuit Experience. For whatever reason, Polyphony didn't factor the GT League into the in-game completion tracker. First up is the Sunday Cup.

Nevertheless, my definition of a complete playthrough doesn't have to match what the in-game completion tracker says my completion is, for various reasons. So we're going to do the GT League, and after that the Lewis Hamilton Time Trail Challenge as well, if only because I spent $10 on it. There's also progression in the Arcade Mode, so I'll have to go through that as well, I guess.

The GT League is similar to the typical classic GT Mode, though we aren't given any prize cars for completing each race series (or League). There's also no championships, and unlocking each league is based on your driver level. The Beginner League unlocks at Level 1, Amateur League at Level 10, Professional League at Level 20, and the Endurance League at Level 30. This won't be an issue for me, as I'm already Level 25 upon entering, and it'll take a much longer time to complete the ~270 or so races to get to the Endurance league than it'll take to hit level 30.
