Cutting-edge intralogistics provided by MSK

Описание: In Hungary, near MSK’s production plant, a cutting-edge pallet logistics system has been installed in Unilever’s plant in Nyírbátor. It is made up of three MSK stretch-hooders and pallet conveying system with link to the MES system, with the aim of transporting loads in a secured manner.

Thanks to MSK stretch hooding solution, loads are now well-protected against dirt, theft and moisture. Moreover, thanks to the patented MSK stretch technique, low energy and film consumption are possible which contributes to the sustainability of the entire packaging line. The MSK stretch packaging systems can pack up to 50 pallets per hour each, in mixed operations. Various pallet formats can be packed thanks to a rotating head, which will automatically adapt the film hood to the pallets’ direction of transport, so the unpackaged pallets do not have to be rotated. The machine head can be lowered to a ground level in order to make maintenance simpler and faster.

MSK pallet conveyors are manufactured entirely at MSK’s own production plants – from the production of parts to final assembly. The pallet conveying system installed at Unilever in Hungary is composed of a total of more than 120 conveyor segments, including roller conveyors, chain conveyors, corner transfer units and vertical conveyors for transport to multiple floors.

Last information about this video but not least, the MSK EMSY software, developed by MSK, allows to record pallet data and communicate with both the internal ERP system and the installed peripheral devices such as scanners or labelers. Thanks to this interconnection, pallets can be easily tracked along the entire logistics process.
