Uses
1. Bacterial Infections:

◇ Bacterial Vaginosis: It is commonly prescribed to treat bacterial vaginosis.
◇ Clostridium difficile Infection: It is sometimes used to treat C. difficile-associated diarrhea and colitis, though vancomycin is often preferred.
