In collaboration with Leica and BIMBOX, a team of six people led by ATG's Vertical Construction Reality Capture Director, Jeff Landers, began from the bottom up, using stairwell six as a common point for the entire scan. After a little over five weeks and over 14,000 scans, ATG has created a detailed and accurate historical record of the building.
This project used roughly 9,000 of the 14,000 scans, making this scan the largest ever attempted.
The goal of the project for ATG is to create a complete .rcp file of the hospital to use in Recap Pro and design software.
